Backstory

I am thrilled to have gotten my acceptance letter to Hogwarts! Sure, I'm a half-blood, and I've known about magic my whole life, but never in my wildest dreams did I think I would end up studying in the best school for witchcraft and wizardry! My absolute favorite subjects are Charms class, Study of Ancient Runes, Care of Magical Creatures and Defence Against the Dark Arts.
Believe it or not, I don't just read books and study all day as you'd expect from a Ravenclaw - I love duelling, too! I like to improve my spellcasting abilities and display my knowledge of spellcasting theory in a practical manner, which I have had a chance to do in the Hogwarts Duelling Club. I guess I inherited this affinity after my dad, who is an Auror and master dueller! Oh, I also enjoy drawing; my drawers are chock-full of notebooks where I keep drawings of all the magical creatures we study about in class.
Lately, I've been thinking about what I want to do after I graduate from Hogwarts. I thoroughly enjoy writing, but I'd love to pursue a career that would allow me to help others and protect those I care about. I've considered becoming an Auror, or perhaps a Hit Witch, but my parents insist on something less dangerous... Especially my dad. They have always been over-protective of me, but that just means I'll have to keep working hard and prove to them that I am a powerful witch!
