Backstory

When I received my Hogwarts Letter that faithful day, I didn’t know what it would mean. At first, I thought it was just a joke, ya know? My brother sometimes played pranks on me or blamed me when some weird stuff happened around the house. Plus, I’m muggle-born so getting a letter was amazing! Anyways, my parents were going to go shopping in London anyway and they figured they would humour me. Boy, the look on their faces when we stopped by the Barren Bulldog pub and the sign said “The Leaky Cauldron” instead! The innkeeper was an odd but friendly man, and there were some people to help show us around. The coolest part of Diagon Alley was finding a pet to purchase! I love animals so much, it was so hard to choose, but when I saw a beautiful black owl with white spots I knew I had to get her. I named her Colette. I also love learning even though it is hard for me sometimes because I have a learning disability known as dysgraphia which means I have a hard time with spelling, composing my own writing, and thinking and writing at the same time.
