Astra Kline

Backstory

Astra Kline was born into a muggle family. Her biological mother gave her up for adoption and so Astra was adopted by a gay couple named Gwen and Morgan. They were both teachers at a university and so found reading and intelligence something very important. Astra grew up reading and learning which meant that she didn't make that many friends her age as they thought that she was weird.
At school she was often made fun of and bullied but she never retaliated as she never want to hurt anyone. One day a young girl named Lily who was very popular, she didn't let Astra hide away and they some became best friends. At the age of 10 they were walking home when they were attacked by a mugger. Lily refused to give over anything and so the mugger stabbed her and ran before Astra could do anything. Astra started crying and let out an enraged scream while clutching Lily's limp body when a sudden burst of light erupted around them. Lily was completely healed and okay.
When Astra got the letter from Hogwarts it seemed to fill a lot of the blanks. She was so excited but so scared that she had to leave her only friend behind. Her parents were very supportive and just wanted Astra to be happy (They also thought it was cool)
Astra is a very kind, considerate and empathetic person but they sometimes struggle to talk to others. She wants to make new friends but is still quite shy.
