Tobias Maxton

Backstory

When he was four, Tobias Maxton's father and mother were killed by a pureblood wizard that didn't like that Thomas, Tobias' pureblood father, married Calysta, Tobias' half-blood mother. Tobias is a bright and creative boy that moved from the United States to London to live with a foster family four years after being placed in the foster system. He was ecstatic when he received a letter from Hogwarts, though he didn't like having to lie to his muggle family. He is fascinated by magical creatures and is always fiddling with whatever trinket he finds interesting at the time. Although outgoing, Tobias much prefers to keep to himself, and can usually be found with his head in a book. He is always interested in current affairs in both the wizarding and muggle worlds since he was exposed to both at a young age. Tobias has absolutely no sense of time and cannot do basic math off the top of his head, though don't let that trick you into thinking he isn't smart. At his best, Tobias is empathetic, vibrant, intuitive, and a relentless problem-solver. At his worst, he is ruthless, insensitive, fatalistic, and impulsive.
