Backstory

When I first got my letter, I was shocked. I didn’t know if it was a prank. I was under the impression that witches and wizards didn’t exist, that it was all a big fairytale made by hum-er muggles. Boy was I wrong. Walking into Diagon Ally, I was so overwhelmed. I didn’t know the first thing about magic, or what anything in this world meant. I tried to understand a book called Hogwarts, A History. It helped a lot, but I was still a little flustered by all of this. When I got to Hogwarts, it was time to be sorted. The sorting hat sat on my head for only about ten seconds, before booming “RAVENCLAW”. The should echoed through the large hall and suddenly one of the long four tables filled with students in blue ties and robes with blue badges erupted into cheers. I remember reading about Ravenclaw in my book, they were said to be some of the wisest students at Hogwarts. I joined the table and had a delicious meal before retiring to my new dorm in the Ravenclaw common room. There was still much to understand, but as time went on things began to fall in place. The pieces of a puzzle finally fit together.
