Aidan Michaels

Backstory

Aidan Michaels is the third generation of his family to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. After emigrating from Newport, Rhode Island, his grandfather Perscio Michaels attended Hogwarts for the last two years of his education, took a position at the Ministry of Magic, and settled his family in Westminster, London. The Michaels have since gone on to climb the social ladder in both Muggle and Wizarding Circles, rising in wealth and political power. Michaels' usually get sorted into in Slytherin.

After his 6th year, Aidan was offered an internship in the Department of International Cooperation, which he was able to participate in whilst still attending classes by a special amendment to the Anti-Disapparation Charm. By the time Aidan completed his education at Hogwarts School, he had already secured his position in the Ministry as an assistant to the Minister for Magic. Since then, he has held positions in the DIMC, DMT, DRCMC, and DMLE. For the past 4 years he has been with the DME, and last year was promoted to Deputy Department Head as the Director of the Office of International Magical Education Standards and Compliance, a position he holds concurrently with his position of Dean of Students at Hogwarts. Aidan spends the majority of his week at Hogwarts, where his duties as Dean include teaching a magical leadership course and student discipline, so that he can implement and oversee the standards his office issue.
