Backstory

Name: Alex Anderson

Was first introduced to the Wizarding World in march during a video game event that he went to as an early birthday gift. While there he accidentally ruined his console with a burst of (noticeable) accidental magic that killed it. Previous bursts were simple and unnoticeable things that could be passed off as luck such as getting the last item on sale in a store or getting a discount that wasn't listed. When he started crying because he destroyed his rather expensive console Sarah (Bedwell) who realized it was magic calmed him down and told him. They soon became friends bonding over the game and then magic. When he got to Hogwarts during the sorting ceremony the hat was split between Ravenclaw and Slytherin due to his love of reading and his love of strategy respectively. However the hat ultimately decided Slytherin as a lot of the reading was now being done to increase the effectiveness of his strategies.
