Backstory

I was sorted into Gryffindor 5 years ago. My family has been a long line of Gryffindor purebloods but soon ended that line, when my sister was sorted into Slytherin last year (I am deeply proud of my younger sister). Surprising I was a hatstall as it took the hat more 7 minutes to decide what house I belonged in. The hat toyed with the idea of me being in Slytherin ( Oh.. Merlin forbid) or a Ravenclaw. Which would have worked out fine as my best friend is a Ravenclaw, but being the eldest daughter in one of the oldest Chinese pureblood families, I hope to Merlin that I was sorted into Gryffindor, as I was afraid of disappointing my family. As for the rest of my family, they were immediately sorted into Gryffindor. (Which many bragged about at family gatherings... gross) I enjoy all my classes equally, as I enjoy everything that I have so far learned during my time at Hogwarts. But between you and me, Potions is not my favorite, although I am awfully good at it. As mentioned before I come from a long line of Gryffindor Purebloods and some could say we are bitter rivals with the Malfoy family. (Although My bloodline runs all the way to the Shang Dynasty, where does yours go Malfoy?) Although, we are purebloods we do not share the same ideals with Voldemort and his gang of oily-haired followers. The Wang Family fought with Order against the dark side during both of the wars. While we lost some of our own, we are proud to have fought with the Order. I think my greatest strength would be my intelligence and strategic ability. As I raised to never tell people my weaknesses, you would have to guess. As of now, my future is unclear and I do not know what i am looking for after i finish my schooling. Right now, I would say that I want to become a healer(although if that my parents' dream or mine, that is yet to be answered.) The most fascinating aspects of magic is the potential to do anything. If I were to be honest to myself, I wouldn't know what I truly wanted as my life has been planned since the beginning. One odd thing about my family would be that the first born of every Wang family is a girl. I have a wonderful cat Mei Mei. My family has as many disagreements as the Malfoy Family.
