Backstory

HI! My name is Eva Gold and I'm a Hufflepuff. The thing I like about my house is that we are loyal and most of us make friends easily. Although I may be socially awkward I am ready to listen if you have any problems dealing with life and I'm willing to try my best to help! I was immediately chosen for my house, it taking about 1 minute. Both of my fav classes are care of magical creatures and Charms! They both are calming classes that can really relax the soul. I don't like fighting and I'd rather watch from the sidelines so Defense of the Dark Arts might not be the class for me. I do pretty decent in a lot of classes, not failing but not being the best. I am a Half-blood, my mom was a wizard while my dad was a muggle. Sadly my mom died when I was three so I knew there was a wizard community but I knew nothing about it. My dad had an affair with a woman and that how I came to know my little brother who is a muggle. I don't get that much hate from purebloods, mostly because I know to be really nice to people even though they may have wronged me (Meaning I'm kind of a pushover). When He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named was rising I was residing in the UK. I knew all about the war and was constantly in fear about my family's safety. We lived in the countryside so we didn't really had much to worry about but we were still cautious. In my opinion, my greatest strength was my loyalty and kindness. Kindness can get you very far in life. But there are some cons to that, considering the fact that I'm kind of a pushover when it comes to other people making me do their work. I want to please people so much that most of the time I forget to look after myself and sometimes can be caught up in an abusive friendship (I'm way too shy to date). After I graduate I want to own my own wizard bakery. Just a small little thing that people can go to avoid life or couples can go to have a calm atmosphere. But back to magic, magic is amazing. The fact that you can come up with spells and it's really up to your imagination where magic can end. Imagine the people you can help with it, someones broken arm being fixed in a couple of minutes instead of weeks fascinates. I hope I can use magic to help people of this world and prove that kindness is in everybody. My own secret desire is for everybody to be happy. I really do want to change the world but the world is too big and people are too mean but I can sure as well try. I just want everyone to have what they secretly desire, is that too much to ask? Speaking of desires I finally have the pet dog I've always wanted. Her names is Tiny and I really do adore her. Still sad I can't take her to Hogwarts but if I'm being completely honest, she is probably in better hands with my dad and little bro. My family is somewhat normal. I did say we live in the countryside, away from most people. That is probably where I got most of my love for the outside. My dad does his best to take care of me and my little bro, giving us free range of stuff and teaching us from an early age that the world isn't pretty. I do my best to protect my brother and teach him the that not everything has to be solved with violence. Maybe at Hogwarts, I can friendship and maybe if I try hard enough love.
