Stanford (Sam) Valentine

Backstory

As a sixth year Slytherin, I've had my fair share of fights and flights. My family is half-Muggle, half-Wizard, so those who had magical tendencies were surprised I was a Slytherin. Most of my siblings are Hufflepuffs and Ravenclaws, and I am the only Slytherin in the family. The pressure of needn't to be a perfect Slytherin made me feel like I had to prove we really aren't evil. I excelled in some classes, fell back in others, but I've never failed. I spend my summers out of school, as a camp counselor. Being an older sibling, I know my way with kids (and creatures! My dad used to be a creature keeper, and I have a few choice scars). I get looked up to a lot, especially because I balance Quidditch and O.W.L.S. the way my siblings couldn't. Except the one time I didn't balance all too well, literally. A Quidditch incident left me deaf in one ear. I like to think my greatest skill is socializing- but I tend to find my downfalls in people, too. Something of a hidden hopeless romantic, if you will. After school, I hope to stay in the mighty Wizarding World. I don't wanna lose the magic, y'know?
