Backstory

Calling Isabella a pathetic kid would've be an understatement. Her mother'd died so long ago she couldn't remember her. And when her father, a car thief, was murdered, she inherited his debt. She had to grow up on her own, and was always seeking opportunities to make up the debt. No matter the cost. Constantly moving to avoid suspicion, Isabella had to deal with rent for every place she moved to as well. Eventually, gambling wasn't enough. She became an assassin for an underground agency and worked for commission at $12,000 a kill. But as she rose up the murder rank, her missions became harder and harder to accomplish. She could never understand why her targets escaped her. She was an expert! Finally, during an undercover mission, she found out the truth. The existence of magic and wizards. After letting this unbelievable truth sink in, she realized the only way to continue her job, was to learn magic herself. After she discovered Hogwarts and all the opportunity it held for her future, she decided she would never have to work again! She would never have to kill again.... Isabella joined Hogwarts under the alias "Vera" and is currently learning of the limitlessness of magic. She uses any new skills she learns to defeat her creditors and is trying to experience life the way she might've if her parents were still alive and her father hadn't been in with the wrong crowd. With how long she'd been in that lifestyle, one can imagine how intrigued she is by the chance for the perfect life, the best friends, all of it. She's a prodigy.
