Eli Cromwell

Backstory

Eli Cromwell has spent all of her life in an orphanage. According to the Mistress, she was found on the steps on cold London night...and that was that. All that was with her was a single note that stated her name. Officials tried tracking the parents down based off the last name, but nothing came up, so an orphan she was.

Growing up wasn't exactly easy, but she wasn't too upset about it. She got picked on at times because of how small she was for her age, but she used books as her scapegoat from the other kids. She didn't mind being on her own. Of course she wished for a family, but she had just turned eleven, and people never wanted to adopt older kids.

Not long after she turned eleven,, she received quite a strange letter from some man she can't remember the name of. This man sat her down, as well as the Mistress, and spoke of how the young girl had been accepted to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Now of course this sounded like nonsense, but...he had a little proof that he showed only to her. Long story short, she soon found herself on a train to a new school. Witches and Wizards were real!! And she found the books to be captivating. What would this new world have in store for her?
