Franklin Kinslee Longbottom, a.k.a. Frank or Frankie, is the child of Neville and Luna. He started trying to learn and understand common housekeeping spells from his mother, and basic herbology from his father. Frank also quickly learned how to handle basic magical creatures because of the amount of time he spent outside. Through books and minor exploration, Frank quickly gained an interest in what he found around him. He started reading books and quietly studying up on magical creatures, herbology, and even dabbling a little into divination. Unlike most, Frank made no friends on the train to Hogwarts. Throughout his first year, with regular pep talks from his father, Frank remained friendless, not even becoming friends with the four boys he was roomed with.
