Backstory

It's not exactly fun growing up when your whole family thinks you're a squib. It wasn't that i didn't show signs of magic until a few days before i got my letter, but with an older brother who showed signs of magic before he was a year old, the expectations were pretty high. The first nine and a half years of my life everybody thought i was a squib. My dad actually got a bit excited, because he's a muggle, so i could get a muggle education like him. I, of course, wanted to be a witch more than anything else. I think that's why i started reading all my brothers old textbooks as soon as i showed signs of being a witch, and why i work so hard. Because i never thought i'd be here.
