Backstory

It has always been a fantasy of mine to be a student at Hogwarts. When I got my letter confirming my attendance, I nearly fainted. Then after all that excitement I was sorted into my absolute favorite house, Ravenclaw, where I was able to express my knowledge and creativity in many forms. I love to read, and the shelves lined with books let me create the magic and mystery that had I had dreamed of for many years. When I lived in the Muggle World, I was always told that I would be a great politician someday. That may be true, and I do aspire to have a role in the Ministry, but my real passion lies in the arts. Creative writing, music, and theater have always played a great part in my decisions. Whenever I was asked what I wanted to grow up to be, I always answered with something I knew would be supported by the adults, such as a pediatrician or reporter. However, I always knew that I wanted to be in musical theater or in the movies. When I came to Hogwarts, I rethought my aspirations, I wish to pursue a career in journalism, and I hope to write for the Daily Prophet, And when I get the chance to write, I will make a point to tell the truth and nothing but the truth, unlike some other well known journalists. Even though my wishes in the wizarding world have changed, whenever I get the chance to visit my parents in the muggle world, I always make time to catch up on all the movies and TV shows I've been missing.
