Backstory

When you're a Hufflepuff, no one is exactly surprised to hear you're a mudblood. I suppose the Sorting Hat put me here because of my loyalty. Kindness certainly doesn't come naturally; It's something I have to work at. I was a hatstall. It took the bloody thing nearly fifteen minutes to decide where to put me- couldn't decide between Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff I guess. My favourite classes are definitely transfiguration and divination. I can't stand potions though- that slimy git Snape can kiss my you-know-what. Not that I'd say that to his face. Dangerous business, being a mudblood these days, what with all the attacks and rumours of He Who Must Not Be Named. After school, I'd like to look in to doing activism for LGBT+ wix and attempt to make changes to outlaw discrimination under magical law. I'd also like to look into the possible applications of healing magic for muggles, and where the merging of the two worlds would be beneficial. My greatest strength is definitely my loyalty, though that could also be considered my greatest weakness, depending on who you talk to. The most fascinating part of magic is definitely divination; it opens up interesting angles to the question of free will. At the end of the day, if you're not using your magic to better the lives of others, what are you doing with your life? At the end of the day, I want my friends and I to survive whatever comes. I have a single tabby cat, Maple, who prefers garbage to any cat food money can buy. I'm an orphan, so I spend the summers with my uncle Bobby in Scotland, whom I love very much.
