Backstory

(Younger Student) When I received my Hogwarts Letter that faithful day, I knew exactly what it would mean. My parents had told me all about Hogwarts when I was six. I had been exited to start trying out the spells, so they gave me their old first-year school books, and I read-and memorised- them all by the time I was seven. I was fully prepared for first-year by the time I was nine. I remember the day I went to Diagon Ally to pick up the new and updated editions. There were so many magical things around, it was amazing! The day I left to go to school on the Hogwarts Express, my mum said, with teary eyes, how proud she and my dad were of me. I promised to send them a letter every day, to tell them how I was doing. I am determined to live up to their expectations, and to be the best student I can be.
