Personality/Background
I’ve grown up with No-maj parents, so I’ve never had much experience with the wizarding world, except through the pages of the many books on my shelf. My whole life I’ve been dreaming of when I would finally get to Hogwarts, and here I am! When my letter came, I immediately began begging my parents to let me go. They figured it couldn’t hurt to get some cultural experience out of the trip, so after a long and meaningful discussion, they decided to send me off. I can’t describe how excited and overjoyed I was! They’re really the best parents a witch could ask for, even if they don’t know much about being a witch in the first place.
If you read my quote above, you’ll understand that I FREAKIN LOVE ART. Give me fashion, writing, music, drawing; I’ve got it covered. I won’t brag, but I know quite a bit about color schemes and the artistic design. If you ever need a second opinion on a piece of art, just call me up with some Hufflepunk attitude! Heck, you’ve probably just made a new friend!
I’m most influenced by hipster and punk style. I love expressing myself with all things beautiful, and I don’t care who knows it. You know what, how about a list of the things I consider the most satisfying? Then everyone reading this can understand what I’m talking about! Ok here goes:
1. Pale yellow, gold dust, soft gray, and crystal turquoise make up my favorite color scheme. This shows in my clothes and my art.
2. Forests filled with green life just call to me ya know? It’s really amazing how it all fits together. Take out one single species and the entire ecosystem goes downhill. Definitely a worthy inspiration.
3. Old books are often overlooked. You never know what knowledge could be trapped inside. The only way to find out is to read the pages. I think people are actually very similar.
4. Tattoos are stories engraved on skin. They’re always there to remind us of what we’ve been through, who we’ve loved, and what is yet to come. They symbolize so much, yet they always remain beautiful. If only people could look at life the same way.
5. Violins, and any other instrument, are also like tattoos in a way. No matter the style of music played, the song continues to be beautiful in its own way. I play violin, so I know.
I hope you find some inspiration today. Maybe make a list like I have. You’ll see the world in a new way.
My main focus at this school is to help others find themselves. Not like “oh shoot I’m lost and I missed the freakin stairs,” but understanding who you are on the inside. People need to realize that we have to accept both other people and ourselves. If you’re shutting out people without even taking the time to know who they really are, then those actions will reflect on how you treat yourself. It’s time to make a change. Simply remember this: a closed mind is a mind without growth.
