Backstory

(Younger Student) I am a Pureblood, but in The Battle of Hogwarts, my Grandparents were killed. That left my mother emotionally unstable. But even before they died, she was.. not right. Then, 5 years later she had me. She decided to leave me in a Muggle orphanage. Flash forward 11 years, and I am adopted by two amazing women, and I receive my acceptance letter from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. There, I expected to find a world full of magic, love, happiness, and most importantly, power. And I did. But almost right upon arrival, I realize that this world is also filled with secrets, danger, and hate. Turns out, my Grandparents weren't just killed, they were murdered.. by my mother. She had fallen in love with the Dark Lord's mission, and then that turned into loving the Dark Lord himself. (They say my mother was "The One The Sorting Hat Got Wrong. She was a member of Gryffindor.) Of course, she was only one of many, but came second only to Bellatrix Lestange. Anyway, when it became my turn to get sorted into my house, I was a bit of a Hatstall. It was a draw between Ravenclaw because of my intellectual abilities, Gryffindor because of my need for friends and adventure. But in the end, my desire for power won out. I was sorted into Slytherin. Although, my house mates tell me that I don't belong in their house, that I should have been a Hufflepuff, because I'm too soft. And sometimes, I'm inclined to agree with them. But there are times when everyone sees exactly why The Sorting Hat put me where I am. And at the end of the day, I am a Slytherin, through and through.
