Backstory

As a child, i often do things that "normal" people could do but i didn't figure that out until my 11th birthday. That morning, 8am, when my mom was preparing breakfast, my dad was watching the news and i was checking the mailbox. "Let's see, a letter from grandma to mom, a letter from my brother for my dad and..." Hold on a second, i've never gotten any letter's in my life. "to Ms. Francescha Thorne" that's what the letter says. At first, i thought it was a prank from my brother. But wait, he's attending this super secret academy that i don't even know about. So, i decided to open it and see what's inside. "We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry." I read the first sentence in the letter and i was confused, "Witchcraft and Wizardry?!" So, i decided to ask my parents. "Mom, Dad, did any of you sent an application to this Witchcraft and Wizardry school?" Their face didn't show a yes, instead it showed shock. Then, they looked at each other and then they told me everything. About how my dad was a pure-blood wizard and my mom was a muggle-born witch, how my brother is actually attending hogwarts, how the wizarding world works, and more." They said they didn't told me because they thought that i didn't have any "magical abilities". Well they weren't there when all those "weird things" happened. Later that evening, we went to this place called "The Leaky Cauldron" and it was magically connected to this other place called "Diagon Alley". There were people, who i believe are also Wizards and Witches, Strange looking food and just things you dont get to see everyday. Anyway, first we went to this place at the end of the street called Gringotts. There, we switched our money with galleons. Then, we went to buy my "Wizarding" outfits. We bought some plain black working robes, a plain black pointed hat, a pair of protective gloves and a winter cloak. Next, we went to get my books. We bought the books that were stated in the letter and i also bought books for some light reading. After that, we went to this place called Ollivander's to buy my first wand. Mr. Garrick Ollivander took something from his shelf and gave it to me. I tried it and turns out it was the perfect match for me. I got a Chestnut wood wand with a Dragon heartstring core and it was 13". Then, we went to this petshop and i chose a white cat for company. I decided to name her Coco as in coconut (which is my favorite fruit) and we bought the other stuff stated in the letter like a pewter, standard size 2 cauldron,a set crystal phials a telescope & a set brass scales. Finally, we went back home.
Tomorrow is my first day at Hogwarts and i'm really excited.
