Dahlia Tonks

Backstory

My name is Dahlia Tonks, a half-blood sorted into Hufflepuff.

My dad's a wizard while my mum's a muggle, but it was the strangeness of my dad that made her fall in love with him. In fact, she wasn't at all surprised when he confessed he's a wizard.

I knew I was a witch from the moment I started talking. Literally. The first word I said was "accio!" My dad has been trying to get me to say it ever since I was born while holding up my pacifier. I could finally summon it out of his grasp at the age of 1 and 3 months (he never lets me or anyone who asks forget it).

When I was 6 years old, I had a row with my parents about a toy set I really wanted, but they wouldn't buy it for me because they knew I would be disinterested in it only after a couple days. That was absolutely true, but at the time I refused to accept that. I had a tantrum when all of a sudden, my parents gasped. They saw my usual brown hair turn bright red! When I realised it too, my hair turned back to normal. That was when my knew I could change my hair colour depending on my emotions. So far, I had bright red when I was angry or annoyed, blonde when I was shocked, even momentarily if someone scared me, blue for when I was sad and pink for when I was feeling happy or bubbly; which is all the time now, because I just love the colour on myself! I would turn it back to brown whenever I missed it, but most of the time I keep the bubblegum pink.

I'm in my first year of Hogwarts right now, which makes me 11, turning 12 this November! That's all I have to say about myself.
