Cassie Collins

Backstory

Cassie Blue Collins grew up in Manchester, England with her mother, a muggle, her father, an ex-auror, and her two older brothers. Their mother had raised them in a muggle life and their parents only introduced them to the wizarding world once her twin brothers had received their letter. Naturally, the children were upset about just now learning about this. Both her brothers were wizards and had been attending Hogwarts for 6 years. They’d been sorted into Gryffindor, as well had their father had been.

When Cassie finally got her letter six years later, she had gone to Diagon Alley with her father and acquired her robes, her hat (which she adored), her dragon hide gloves, her coat, all of her books, her cauldron, crystal phials, telescope, and brass scales. She then visited Ovillanders, which her father let her go in on her own. She was rewarded with an ash wood, dragon heart string core, 13-inch wand with a knob towards the lower half of it. Mr. Ollivander enlightened her on her wands capabilities, such as its ability to create potent and flamboyant spells. She adored that wand as well. Next, her father took her to a shop to get her animal. Upon laying eyes on it, she fell in love with a tortoiseshell tabby, naming her Mishka (Russian for little bear).

Finally arriving at Hogwarts, Cassie and Mishka made a name for themselves as the mischievous Ravenclaws. Though she always kept up with her studies (and even did some extra-credit *ahem* darker magic work), she tends to be found roaming the grounds near the lake when she isn't nose deep in some book or another.
