Backstory

I come from a muggle family, and had no idea what Hogwarts was until my parents adopted a 14 year old boy. I never knew that my new brother had magic blood, and I didn't even know what magic was. He told me all about the wizarding world and all about Hogwarts. I asked him if I was ever able to become a witch, and he said yes. I tried to find any book I could about magic in every muggle library. All I found was childish magic tricks that involved cards and a plastic wand. My brother gave me some of his textbooks, so I could learn about magic before attending Hogwarts. I was nervous when I first got on the train with my brother. I was luck to have him with me, because if I didn't I would have never dreamed of becoming a witch.
