Backstory

[I made another account in November of 2014, but that was before I found out that I am a Ravenclaw on Pottermore.]
I am a student studying at Ilvermorny (Horned Serpent), but I am currently a visiting student at Hogwarts to deepen my breadth of education cross-culturally. I hope to visit all of the wizarding schools one day. I have ancestors who attended both Hogwarts and later Ilvermorny as they were the founders of Stamford, Connecticut where, during the Stamford Witch Scare of 1692, my ancestors were at the heart of it. Fortunately, they were able to calm the situation and keep quiet, so it didn't go as out of hand as the Salem trials had as another ancestor of mine was tried and thankfully acquitted. While my early American ancestors attended Ilvermorny, others attended Hogwarts, so I am trying to immerse myself in the experiences of my ancestors as a student studying magic. I hope to work in the field of the history of magic and charms to further the archaeological study of our collective magical ancestors.
