Orphelia Selwyn

Backstory

Orphelia Selwyn was a student of Castelobruxo School of Magic. She was taught greatly in Magizoology as well as Herbology. Despite her advancements in those subjects, she always wanted more. She wanted to know more. The Selwyn family originated in Africa and were all once enrolled in the South African School of Magic. Here at this school the students were most talented in Transfiguration. They could transfigure themselves and others into Lions, Zebras, and much much more. This was not really interesting for Orphelia. She didn't want to be nature. She wanted to study nature. Of course, her family disapproved of this. This is why she went to Castelobruxo. She wanted a new life. A new family story. A new tradition. After researching and digging deeper into nature of the wizarding community and finding nothing she decided to take a trip to Scottland. Scottland was known for his different magical beast in the "Forbidden Forest". She had read all about this forest. When she arrived, she immediately began searching for new creatures when she stumbled upon a winged slime like creature. She picked it up and took it home. The couldn't take her mind off of it. She studied and studied this creature until the found a name for it. "Dragon". The name of the creature was a Dragon. Did anyone know about Dragons? Were dragons common? She did more background research on the creatures and found that they were discovered before and research was created about them. She wanted to go deeper into that. Over a gazzilion balled up papers and a couple of years later, Orphelia has her big break. All of her research was complete. She knew everything about Dragons. She decided to release this research to the public. She found a new branch of magical nature. She soon became famous for these discoveries. The discoveries were so popular that she was glorified for them. Statues were placed up with her on them. She was all in the Daily Prophet. She was famous. After fame, she was legendary. Once things calmed. She created her own wizarding school which later closed down. She was later offered a position as Headmistress of Castelobruxo. She was excited about this and gladly took the position. After the school was under her control she quickly reformed the schools Magizoology, Herbology and soon to be added, Dragonology programs. The school was now the most famous school in the nature wizarding community. She lived a legend and still lives today as the same name.
