Backstory

The Sorting Hat didn't take long to decide. It was fairly obvious that i would be placed in Ravenclaw, whether i liked it or not. There wasn't really any other house i would belong in. I certainly wasn't brave enough for Gryffindor and i wasn't loyal like Hufflepuffs. I suppose Slytherin could have been another option but i'm not cunning or ambitious, I leave that to the words I speak.

I never liked my gift, the gift of prophecy, an Oracle. It certainly fits with my name. I grew up in the Scottish highlands, living in a small but cosy cottage with my mother. She was a witch and a healer, specialising in magic herbs and brews, infamous for miles around. She taught me everything i know, from my ABC's to the cure for broken bones.After i graduate i aspired to become her apprentice and hope to continue her life's work
