Backstory

No relation to the late Remus Lupin, Sarah's last name is a pseudonym that she took after she hit puberty and her dormant genetic powers "awakened."
Unlike Remus, Sarah is a genetic werewolf, and a true lupin (also spelled "lubin"). As many of you know, the Ministry has very scarce, and mostly innacurate, information on werewolves. One piece of information that they don't seem to possess is that lupins are generally female and docile. While they look similar to the werewolf depicted in The Prisoner of Azkaban, they are generally smaller with more fur, and switch between bipedal and quadrupedal walking. Unlike Professor Lupin's lycanthropic form, they are more likely to run away if a human sees them transformed, as opposed to attacking them. However, they will defend themselves when confronted with a threat, such as a human wielding a firearm or heavy blunt object. There are no special weapons (i.e. silver bullets) required to kill them, however they are immune to magic while transformed.
