Backstory

After spending 11 years of my life as the 'freak' at my muggle primary school, being a muggle-born, I got my letter for Hogwarts. Here, I am still a freak. Contrary to what you might see, I am actually in my fourth year of Hogwarts. I am also searching avidly, but with no success, for band members. The only people I can find either don't take it seriously, or have the worst taste in music, unlike mine which largely consists of The Smiths, The Ramones, Billy Fury, The Crass, Echo and the Bunnymen etc etc. My large, Irish family always says I was born a generation or so too late. I live in the 60s/70s/80s in my head while trying to deal with the soul-crushing loneliness of reality. It takes me a long time with people, and often appear quite cold or far away, so I guess it's my fault. But, honestly, I couldn't be happier.
