Biography:
Halo was born in the Philippines on the 30th of July, 2004, to a magical mother and a Muggle father. She rarely showed any display of magic growing up, but when she does it gets... explosive. Literally. Her mother rarely showed her magical abilities too, so Halo got very little exposure to magic other than the times her mom gets a bit lazy doing chores. She grew up being home-schooled, but she is very interested in learning. She is especially interested in science, and wants to be a neurologist when she grows up. She is also a bookworm, and when she can she likes to immerse herself in a good book. She wants to explore the magical world, because she sees it as the hidden side of her. She's just a really excited person in general and absolutely loves experiencing anything new.

Acceptance to Hogwarts:
They've been staying in London for 3 months already when Halo got her Hogwarts letter. Her mom, who lived in the UK for her education (which now makes so much more sense to Halo), was relieved that her daughter would be able to attend a school for magic.

Halo freaked out when she saw the owl. She's only ever seen an owl once, and it was in a zoo. To see an owl right outside her window? Staring at her, holding a letter that seemed to have her name on it?! As much as she wanted to investigate herself, she didn't want her death to be caused by sharp talons and a beak. She called for her mom, since her dad was at work. Her mom got worried seeing Halo so distressed, but once she described the situation she can't help but chuckle.

Leading her daughter outside, she got the letter and gave the owl a small mouse as a treat. As the owl flew away, mouse in beak, she let Halo read the letter. Her eyes widened, and after re-reading it 2 more times she looked up at her mom, asking for an explanation. And that's exactly what her mom gave her. After 2 hours of explaining, Halo went from disbelief to excitement. She was practically begging to go to this 'Diagon Alley' her mom told her of. She promised they'll go shopping after checking her family's Gringotts bank account.
