Backstory

The sorting hat was pretty torn between Ravenclaw and Slytherin for my house, it eventually decided on Slytherin due primarily to my ambition and "a certain disregard for rules". I'd describe myself as determined- in fact quite stubborn, a bit hot headed, and passionate about everything I do. I'm an introvert, with only a few friends who I am very close to. I'm half blood, my mom's a muggle, my dad's a wizard, they separated when I was young and I was primarily raised by my mom. Due to this I entered Hogwarts without much knowledge of the wizarding world, including Slytherins association with dark magic and blood prejudice, which made me very uncomfortable initially, but I've banded with other Slytherins to help educate and decrease prejudice within the house which has been successful. I tend to enjoy and do well in school generally, and particularly enjoy Charms and Defense Against the Dark Arts, and aspire to work in the research department of the Ministry of Magic, developing new spells. I also paint, and love enchanting my paintings to move. I have a black cat named Ramona. In the summer I have a part time job at Flourish and Blots.
