Backstory

In school you could say I had a particular flair for spells and anything that involved my wand- I was always incredibly curious as to how it all worked and I created my first spell aged 12, even though it could only turn water pink. I excelled at defence against the dark arts and I did pretty well in potions too. I may have only just graduated Hogwarts, but I have already spent seven years studying spells, the unique bits of magic that we all use. Lingual histories, connections between the incantation and effect of a spell, that wonderful feeling when a spell is born. Of course, I had to get my license before I could get funding for my work, but that was more a formality than anything. I've written two books on the fundamentals of incantation and its history. I’m currently studying a set of ancient spellbooks in Cairo, but I occasionally apparate home to see my family. I quite enjoy my work and my father being a muggle wanted nothing to do with me, and my mother is always busy travelling as she works with endangered magical creatures. So Nevertheless, as one of the best witches in my field of work, I continue to uncover old spells and create new ones.
