Backstory

It wasn't a complete surprise when the Sorting Hat placed me into Slytherin, seeing as my fathers entire family has been placed in Slytherin. My mother however was a Ravenclaw and I take after her more than my father-or so I've been told. My sorting didn't take a long time just long enough for the Sorting Hat to say that my cunning and ambition was strong and that in Slytherin I would find my true friends. I have yet to start my classes but I'm most excited for potions class and least excited for charms. I am a pureblood, as such my family and I are treated with respect. My greatest strength is my fierce loyalty to my family and friends. My greatest weakness is my temper and how skeptical I am. I aspire to be either a healer or to work with magical creatures. To me the most fascinating thing about magic is all the history that's there, I could spend all day reading about our past. I want to use my magic neither to help others or to further my own ends, but purely for my enjoyment. I have two pets, Shadow is my white and grey cat she is always following me around and loves laying on me while I read. My other pet is Zues who's my barn owl, he's our only owl left so I let my parents use him, so Shadow is the pet I chose to have come with me.
