Backstory

Studied at Hogwarts. The school is not far from where I was brought up in Scotland. Now in first year of training to be a wand maker. Loving it.

I was brought up in a wizarding family in the boreal forest on the slopes of Ben Eighe,. Dad is the forester who looks after this piece of forest, sometimes known as the Witch Wood and has a special responsibility for finding suitable wood for Mr Ollivander to use in wand making. The ash, beech and elder and of course witch hazel are particularly good from the area, . It's not surprising that I've always wanted to be a wand maker.

Mum's what we call a "cure" wife up here. She makes potions and creams to cure minor aliments like warts and bites.

It's very remote and we live in a very rustic cottage but it's also beautiful and quiet.

I always knew I would be in Hufflepuff. I don't know how anyone could want to be in any other house. I loved school and most of the lessons. However I was absolutely hopeless on a broomstick. I had to have remedial classes in this and obviously was never allowed to play quidditch.
