Backstory

Berry always knew she was odd. For most new parents the most exciting moment is your child's first word. For Berry's though, the most exciting - and frightening - was watching their two year old cheerfully float her favourite doll in the air. And it didn't stop their; floating was followed by snacks vanishing from thin air and into the child's hand, and then to a toddler opening doors that should have been locked. But the pinnacle of odd happenings was when, on Berry's 8th Birthday, her parents found her standing next to a mirror with shockingly bright pink hair.

This was the straw that broke the camel's back however. As she was pulled aside by her father, who fiercely explained to her that these parlor tricks could get her in trouble and to never do such drastic things again, Berry realised that odd wasn't always good.

Hiding her powers was more difficult then anything. She'd tried explaining to her parent's that she couldn't control any of these strange abilities, but her complaints fell upon deaf ears. She knew her parent's truly worried for her however, so she suppressed them as much as she could. But as she soon reached her breaking point, a mysterious letter was delivered by her door step on her 11th Birthday. A mysterious letter that was delivered by a striking white owl.
