Backstory

Wand Specs: Beech wood, Unicorn hair core, 10", pliant.

Patronus: Osprey

Physical Appearance: Average height, average build. Plain brown hair in a long plait down her back. Light eyes, light skin, and a dusting of freckles across her nose. Doesn't wear makeup often, but loves to dress up and is often found wearing dangly, blue planet earrings, many bracelets on her left wrist, and purple Chuck Taylors. She keeps her robes meticulously neat.

Personality: Usually she will sit back and listen to others speak, but when she feels she can contribute or the topic is especially interesting, it's hard to get her to stop talking. She's interested in everything the magical world has to offer and takes as many classes as she can. She's grown to control her temper and tries to be patient and kind to everyone, however she tends to overthink and get stressed easily. When she doesn't have work to do she considers herself to be easygoing since she enjoys goofing off and relaxing in the sun or in front of the common room fire.

Dislikes: Deadlines, Cold, Ink Stains

Skills and Talents: Good at school, can do origami and can play various muggle instruments such as piano, accordion, clarinet, trumpet, bongo drums, guitar, ukulele, banjo, violin, cello, and harmonica. Also enjoys writing.

Backstory: Born in England, Mads first discovered her magical talent during a private family gathering celebrating her eighth birthday while she and her younger sister fought over who would blow out the candles on her cake. The cake promptly exploded and no one could blow out the candles. At first it was believed to be an isolated freak accident, however other incidents occurred when Mads experienced strong emotion. After cautious investigation, Mads and her parents excitedly discovered other muggleborns in the community, that her behavior was completely normal, and that there was a school called Hogwarts waiting for her when she turned eleven. With some difficulty she learned to keep her temper and patiently attended muggle school until her owl arrived.
