Backstory

I was a half-blood growing up in the Muggle World with no knowledge of magic at all. So when I received my Hogwarts letter I thought it was a joke at first. I had showed it to my mother and to my surprise she admitted that my father, who died when i was young, was a wizard. After that she showed me a box that had all my father's old wizarding books in it. When I went to Diagon Alley I found out that my father, a professional Medi-Wizard, had left all his inheritance to me. I bought all my needed supplies, plus a few extra books, and a pet owl I named Gray. I had some time before school started so I read, or at least skimmed, all my books. From reading the books I became fascinated with magical creatures. I had decided that I wanted to work with magical animals.
