Backstory

I come from a family of muggles so when they found out I was a witch all hell broke loose. I entered Hogwarts as a fourth year because my parents had tried to "cure me". The "treatments" would be classified as child abuse under any normal circumstances, yet this was not normal circumstances. I can't count all the times that different pastors tied me to my bed and beat me until I passed out in an attempt to make me "confess to my sins". I was thankfully saved by the Order of the Phoenix a few months ago when my parents decided it would be better to kill me than to keep me locked in a room and hurt for the rest of my life. But none the less, here I am. My best class is History of Magic, but you don’t want to know how long I spend writing and rewriting those essays! I like Care of Magical Creatures, Potions, and Defense Against the Dark Arts because of all the hands-on work. Or as I call it “hands-off-the-quill-work.” When I’m not studying you can probably find me curled up with a book in the Gryffindor common room, taking a joyride on my Nimbus 2000, playing music, or visiting Hagrid and the various animals that inhabit the grounds. I am rather shy and scared of people, but once you get to know me I am a bubbly optimist who is able to stay positive in all situations (no wonder the sorting hat almost put me in Hufflepuff). I'm the most scared of the Slytherins though. I've been here for little over a month and a handful of them have made it their personal goal to make my life miserable, although I will never let them. Despite me being new here and not having many friends, I hope Hogwarts become the home I've always wanted.
