Lindsey Emerson

Backstory

Lindsey was a half-blood whose father was a wizard and a shop worker in Diagon Alley and mother was a muggle and works as a painter. Her mother accepts magic, but is a bit scared by it, so Lindsey doesn't practice much magic at home. Her mother likes to make art and tutor in her free time and her father loves to travel. Lindsey often joins him on trips to magical and non-magical places around Britain and adores camping, reading, writing, and little children. She often takes up jobs as a babysitter over the summer. Although Lindsey is creative and intelligent, she doesn't get great grades, and was surprised by the sorting hat's decision. It took awhile to decide between Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff. Lindsey is kind, funny, brave, intelligent, loyal, trusting, well-read, good with children, a good liar, a wonderful flier, and great at DADA and charms, but she also tends to be hot-tempered, too trusting of others, has difficulty forming solid relationships with people her own age, is self-conscious, is easily diatracted, and gets bad grades in herbology and history of magic. She has one younger brother a year younger then her who she's very protective of and loves, although they get into small fights fairly often. He attends Hogwarts as well, but is sorted into Slytherins for the ambition and hard-work he puts in to someday being a healer.
