Marti was born to a pure-blood witch and wizard and had two older twin sisters. Marti was the only survivor from a surprise attack Lord Voldemort planned on the night of November 5th. Marti saw her own family murdered before her eyes. She lost her sisters, her father, her mother and a unborn baby brother whom her mother was carrying at the time of the murder. Marti wasn't discovered till the next morning in the ruins of the house. She was to be sent to live with her uncle Xenophilius and her cousin, Luna Lovegood at the time but with her aunt Pandora's recent death, her uncle Xenophilius couldn't take her. Xenophilius then sent her to the Weasley family to live with them. Molly and Arthur Weasley gladly took the young 5 year old child and welcomed her as their own. Marti had a fun childhood with her adopted brothers and sister. She enjoyed the fact that she could go over to her cousin's home anytime to visit her but Xenophilius wouldn't allow it since he was busy writing the Quibbler and couldn't handle two girls running around the house. Marti didn't really mind since she could play with Ginny and play games with her. Every so often, Marti would be whisked away from playing with Ginny in order to help Molly in the kitchen or when Fred and George needed someone to test a prank on. She found the Weasley twins quite fun to hang out with and often spent her time hanging out with them instead of Ginny. Marti learned how to do pranks and would often prank Ronald, one of her many adoptive brothers. She and Ronald share the fear of spiders and Fred and George would often take it upon themselves to scare them with the spiders, only using fake and plastic spiders. Marti was a fair Quidditch player when helping her brothers practice the wizarding sport. She and Ginny would often "borrow" their brothers' brooms from the broom shed and play Quidditch. Marti later went to Hogwarts School on September 1st and was sorted in Gryffindor House along with Ronald. She was excited to know that Harry Potter was sorted in the same House. Marti became good friends with Harry and later on became friends with Hermione Granger after seeing her and Ronald fight just because Ronald was bullying her. She often visited the Ravenclaw common room to see Luna shortly after Luna came to Hogwarts. In 3rd year, Marti had to later on break the news to Neville Longbottom that they were cousins and he was shocked in hearing so. Marti has recently developed a crush on Harry Potter and a Slytherin named Draco Malfoy. She's happy to have new friends and she will greatly hurt you if you were to hurt her and/or her friends and family. Marti is talented in Charms and Defense Against the Dark Arts and Potions. She knows every hex, charm and spell listed in the book. She is not afraid to hurt someone with a spell.
