Backstory

I lived in the Muggle world until I was 11. My Muggle mother and wizard father decided to raise me there until I started my magical education so that I would understand those my father felt it so important that wizards and witches be able to co-exist with, before being fully immersed in the magical world.

I came to Hogwarts after receiving an acceptance letter by owl whilst I was away from home, vacationing with my parents in Habitica. Little did I know that the lovely little gray owl that delivered my letter would be, for me, a symbol of the beautiful things to come - new adventures, new friends, and new knowledge! When I am not studying or practicing not blowing things up in my cauldron (Seamus Finnegan is my second cousin, it runs in the family), I can be found using a double-wand technique that my grandmother taught me to create things out of yarn (yes, I always carry a spare wand - one of my grandmother's old ones, usually), refereeing the Muggle sport of roller derby, reading for pleasure, and doing some casual gaming of varying sorts.

Wand: Willow wood with a Unicorn hair core 12 ¼" and Slightly Yielding flexibility (Fun fact: Ron Weasley's second wand was also made of willow wood with a unicorn hair core.)
