Backstory

Name: Valkyrie (Val) Lynn Fairold

Wand: 12 1/2" Redwood, Dragon Heartstring Core, Quite Bendy

Companion: Tawny owl

Autobiography: It was overwhelmingly exciting, and yet also somewhat frightful, when I received my Hogwarts acceptance letter. Being a muggle-born, it's an understatement to say I wasn't expecting something like that. My parents were of course shocked as well; we were just then discovering a whole new world. I feel like since then we've all been secretly anticipating another letter for my sister once she's come of age, but we'll not know of her potential magical abilities until then.

I'll admit it's a bit strange being a year or so older than the other first-years... but something happened, I haven't been told specific unfortunately, to where no one was aware of my abilities until I was a bit older than usual. But I've still managed to make a few friends, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd years, which is nice. I know they have my back, and I have theirs.
