Backstory

I was sorted into Ravenclaw, as was pretty much expected, as I had always grown up with a love of learning and a desire to create (instilled in me by a family of Ravenclaws who love the same things!). I was not a hatstall, but I wasn't an immediate decision, either; the hat mused over first Gryffindor, then more confidently Slytherin, until shouting Ravenclaw, which was quite a relief. I am most looking forwards to Charms and the least towards Herbology, but that is only because I'm not the best at caring for plants! I am a pureblood and come from a long line of Scottish Ravenclaws mixed with some Slytherins. I realize my privilege as a witch coming from a pureblood family and was taught to keep an open mind and always support others who aren't like me. My greatest strength is my mind; my greatest weakness is my heart. I'm not sure what I'll do once I'm finished school, but that's what these next few years are all about! Though I initially wanted a cat, I chose to adopt a tawny owl instead so I could receive mail. Her name is Butterscotch and she's sweet as anything, but can get an attitude sometimes!
