Backstory
Being the only child of a Potions Master and an Auror comes with a certain set of standards being pushed on me from an early point in my life. It certainly would have made things a lot easier if my mother and father had at least seen eye to eye on what those standards should be. But, of course, that wasn't the case. My father expected me to be rigid and studious, always looking for the intellectual answers to all that the world holds. My mother, on the other end, expected me to pursue adventure and new experiences, all while keeping my head on straight and using common sense no matter how sticky the situation.I suppose I took her advice a little too seriously. As soon as I was old enough to understand how to do so, I ran...and I didn't stop running from a long time. I left school, took what little money i had to my name, and took off exploring the world and trying to find my path in life. See, when you're told exactly who you're supposed to be your entire life, it can be pretty suffocating and, in my case, confusing. Eventually, I settled down in an American city called Chicago. It was there that I began to find what I was passionate about and started to reconcile both sets of standards my parents had set out for me, while molding them to fit the life that I wanted.
It took some time for me to find myself and it definitely wasn't an easy period in my life. But, I wouldn't change it for the world. So, here I am, a few years later: back and ready to take my schooling seriously. I figured I've done as much learning as I can do on the streets. Now it's time for me to see what I can learn from some of the greatest wizards in our world. and figure out how to put all of that towards my own plans for my life.
I'm still not sure where this journey will take me, but I do know one thing. It's going to be one interesting ride.
