Backstory

I am a muggle-born witch. When I got my Hogwarts acceptance letter, I couldn't believe that I was a witch. My parents were confused in the beginning, but when we did our research work, we found out that it was one of the finest wizardry school in the world and very few people in the world could become witches or wizards. I was overjoyed by the thought, and did all the research work I could about the wizarding world.
I also found out that my best friend had also been accepted as a muggle-born witch. We were more than just overjoyed. It was a little difficult for us to get at London from India, but we got a part of help from Professor Dumbledore. He gave a port key to both of us through which we could only travel from our respective homes to Platform Nine-Three-And-Quarters.
In the train we met two boys named Ronald Weasley and Harry Potter and became fast friends with them. Also, we met a very proud and spiteful boy named Draco Malfoy, towards whom I had an instant dislike. And a girl named Hermione Granger who was also a muggle-born, but far more studious.
At Hogwarts, I and my bestie got separated. I was sorted into Gryffindor while she into Ravenclaw. I got a little disheartened, but Harry and Ron quickly boosted my morale and told I could always meet her at free times.
We also became friends with Hermione later and the five of us became the closest of friends. We later got to know Harry was one of the most famous wizard of the wizarding world.
And from the first year onwards we all had a lot of different sort of adventures at Hogwarts. My bonds were much more stronger with Harry and Hermione. And to be very frank, over the time in Hogwarts I had developed very strong feelings for Harry.
A lot happened in our years at Hogwarts but we never broke apart from each other. We were always together.
