Backstory

I was sorted into Hufflepuff almost immediately by the sorting hat, probably because I wouldn't really fit in anywhere else and because I am very loyal to the ones I care about. I enjoy almost all of my classes, but I'm not a person who particularly enjoys gardening, so Herboligy is a bit of a bore. Being a muggleborn wasn't particularly easy for me, since I didn't know anything about the wizarding world before I got my Hogwarts letter. People look at me with an odd expression sometimes when I tell them that both my parents are muggles and were just as surprised as me when I got my letter. By the time You-Know-Who was about, I wasn't even born yet. However, I have heard so many stories from other students and teachers at school. My greatest strength... Is probably my loyalty and determination to keep my friends and family safe. My greatest weakness is my lack of confidence, my anxiety and my fear of failing. Procrastination should probably be up there too. I'm not sure what I want to do after school... Perhaps work at the Ministry as an Auror? Or maybe working with magical beasts? I'm not sure... I think the most fascinating aspect of magic is its unpredictability and flexibility. There's always something new to discover. If I can, I'd like to use my magic to help others. I don't have any pets, but I'm good friends with most of the creatures on school grounds. My family isn't particularly interesting, but my dad is a physicist, so I'm very interested in science. If a magical job fails, I want to train to become a forensic scientist and work for the muggle police force. Perhaps I can even get the wizarding world to realize how forensics could help to put criminals away, since no one would expect the wizarding community to use muggle ways to catch criminals.
