Backstory

Despite having a maid, my family worked me to death. I was always the one scrubbing the toilets, vacuuming the house, doing the dishes. Don't get me wrong, I love them to death. But a boy must be free, not chained to the confines of a bathroom. I had but one escape: reading. It was relieving to escape into the world of Narnia or Merlin whenever I wanted to. Even if conditions were... unfavorable. I fantasied day and night about a world of magic just at my fingertips. At times it felt so real, like the world I dreamt about was inside me already. It turned out it was. When I got my letter to Hogwarts, I left a note explaining to my family that I would be back soon. That I had to leave. I miraculously found my way to Hogwarts and made a life there. Afraid that my parents would force me to leave this world of magic, I stayed with my best friend Katelyn during the summers. During my time at Hogwarts, I was always the person to ask the questions the teacher couldn't answer. "What's the incantation to Fiendfyre?" "Sorry, Johnny, that's unknown." "What is the science behind Sacrificial Protection? How does 'love' create such a strong magic bond?" "I'm afraid I can't answer that." I was fascinated by the lost world of ancient magic and the numerous spells that have yet to be created. That's why I decided to become a freelance Magical Archeologist and Spell Creator. I've traveled the world, making note to avoid my parents. I try my best, and I will forever be inspired to look into the unknown.
