Lucian Black is Sirius Black's only son, when Sirius was killed in 1996 Narcissa Malfoy took care of Lucian and eventually adopted him to a Malfoy.

Backstory
Being in Slytherin was nothing new for the Black family because Lucian's uncle Regulus Black was a Slytherin too, but Lucan's father wasn't alive to see him at age 11. Narcissa Malfoy nee Black is Sirius Black's cousin and she decided to take care of Lucian which he took the Malfoy last name. Lucian has been a Malfoy since his father was killed by Bellatrix Lestrange in 1996, due to a battle with Harry Potter and his friends against Voldemort's followers. Lucian blames Harry for his father's death, if Sirius wasn't fighting for Harry, he would still be alive today. Lucian has one brother named Draco and a nephew named Scorpius.
