Backstory

I was sorted into Gryffindor. The sorting hat had a difficult time in his selection. I had traits the strong traits of both Gryffindor and Slytherin. The smarts of Ravenclaw and the loyalty of Hufflepuff but the war inside was between the two dominant houses. I begged for Gryffindor. I came from a long family history of Slytherins who were cruel. I couldn't and wouldn't become one of them. I was a late bloomer student. My records had become lost and was raised by muggles.i just found out my lineage and about my magic. I always knew I was different. I am 26 and starting as a first year. How embarrassing is that? I believe I'm a half-blood but unsure. I have not had much time in the wizard of world so am unsure how I will be affected. I was taken from the U.K. and was placed in the US so I was not involved in what happened. My greatest strength is my will to live even after all of the horrible things that I have gone through. My greatest weakness is my loyalty and wanting to be loved even when those don't deserve it. I would love to be a healer and author. Being able to do extradoribary things is my fascination with magic. I do want to help others. I want to be more than I ever thought I could be. I want to empower myself and become the person I am meant to be. I have a ferret named Meeko.
