Backstory

Within the entirety of my life, my being the result of the two greatest, rivaling families in the Wizarding World is the one thing people notice. Perhaps they merely skim over my frizzy, uncontrollable strawberry blonde locks and my tendency to bury myself in a giant, overwhelming pile of falling books so that they can mock me and point me out behind their hands. I am indeed one-fourth Muggle from my mother, a half-blood. Because of Harry's ultimate win, he's made sure to make the Wizarding World accepting of everyone, even the despised Purebloods, like my father.

The only true friend I have ever had is my glossy snowy owl, Hedwig II. She's beautiful, sharp, willing to listen to everything I say, and loving no matter what I do. She showers me with affection whenever I'm down and comforts me without a second thought. She is my one connection with the rest of the world and my dependence on her ability to send letters is rather strong as I always go back and forth with raging letters written to my slobby, messy, amazing Weasley-Malfoy family.

When my slim, shaking self stepped atop those marble floors of Hogwarts, it was hard to not hear the loud whispers. The Hat was waiting, of course. All I remember was thinking that I didn't want to join my family in Gryffindor. I thought it would be oh-so-cliche for me to end up in the one house my family dominated, so I wished for something different, something new to hold on.

The Hat didn't even waste a second before the call of, "RAVENCLAW!" rang throughout the Hall.

My dad says that it was inevitable, mostly because of his brains. And then my mom punches him lightly on the shoulder and states it's simply because I am brilliant and it's hard to contain someone so logical, so shining in just a single House. So, Ravenclaw, where the people are free to think and create strong, profound independence is where I indefinitely belong.

I believe my greatest strength is my capacity to learn and my willingness to help others. I can't just proclaim myself as intelligent, but I do want to point out that I am top in my year. I think myself as someone strange and wild, someone that can't be tied down, and as a great lover of literature and the Arts. I enjoy anything that's new and interesting, something to lose myself in. I'm very passionate and vibrant in all my beliefs, similar to my mother, and I'm extremely determined. People have told me of my odd charismatic character, though I believe myself as a unique being that has no complete faults.

Which brings me to weaknesses. Insecurity and the great wanting to impress everyone are some of the setbacks I have. My looks aren't a great help, either. I also tend to be bit over-the-top (read: annoying and obnoxious) and narcissistic, while also having a crude, sarcastic sense of humor that can send people running. Regarding classwork and school in general, I'm the biggest procrastinator that's ever existed, really. And, the greatest of all, is that I care about what people think, even though I pretend I don't.

My favorite classes are Defense of the Dark Arts and Charms, hands down. There's no point in arguing when both are the single most perfect classes to exist. I can't choose a least favorite because the other classes are all rather interesting and consuming in their own way. I have this huge, grand ideal that magic was created in the intention of helping beings, not to destroy one another. So, I try in every way to help people and I learn more to benefit them, and, sometimes, honestly, myself.

Because I have always been so fascinated by my magic, I one day want to be in the Department of Mysteries or, to impress my family, be the Minister of Magic, like my grandmother, Hermione. I also don't mind the idea of being Professor or even a Healer that works in what Muggles call 'psychology'. If there is such thing, I might even work as a Lawyer of Defense for all kinds of people.
