Celestina Zeller

Backstory

Celestina Zeller is a 4th year Slytherin. She is half thunderbird and originally came from North America where she was taught at the Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The fact that she is half thunderbird has conjured up problems for C (As her friends like to call her). She has the tri-set of wings that a thunderbird has and has yellow eyes that she hides with contacts (from the muggle world). C originally came to London because she was being hunted by a group of No-Maj (non-magical) Puritans. C has an uncanny ability with storms and rain, and like all thunderbirds’ wings, she can create storms as she flies. When she gets excited she raises the amount of electricity within the air unlike a normal thunderbird. She plays Quidditch as well since she still enjoys the thrill of flying but can’t fly with her own wings around other people for fear of being caught. The only one who knew about her condition was Albus Dumbledore. When he died C was one of many who cast an incorporeal patronus to mourn his death. Celestina’s corporeal patronus takes the rare shape of a dragon. When she did attend Ilvermorny, she was ironically in the house of thunderbird. Her companion is that of a black cat that acts similarly to an owl. It brings her letters and packages but it cannot fly obviously.
